oooh it always makes me happy to do a fun project! and these babies are just that. Truffle consistency chocolate chip cookie dough, covered in rich creamy chocolate and bite-sized!- what could possibly be better than this? =p The sweet tooth in me was just too happy to make and EAT them! Plus they're so ideal for parties (with or WITHOUT kids) or as little gifts.

Read about the simple steps after the break!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pops
What you need:
1/2 C butter (softened)
3/4 C brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C flour (all-purpose)
1 can (14oz)  condensed milk
1/2 C miniature chocolate chips
1/2 C chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 kg good quality dark or creamy chocolate for coating
popsicle sticks

What do do:
1. Mix together butter, sugar, vanilla, flour and condensed milk until smooth.
2. Add in chocolate chips (please don't use the regular size, it's awkward) and chopped walnuts.
Continue drying right side up
3. Cover and CHILL for about 2 hours.
4. When dough has chilled, melt chocolate in double boiler. Best to use a small but deep bowl. Let cool, set aside.
5. Form chilled dough into balls. Insert a popsicle stick and dip in chocolate.
6. Swirl until fully covered, let the excess chocolate drip. Let stand upside down in a plate. Chill for a few minutes.
7. Remove Pops from plate. They should be firm but still mold-able by now. Chocolate should have dried a little but still a bit malleable. Perfect the shape of each by hand and continue to dry right side up in small glasses.
8. Chill for another hour. Serve and enjoy =)

*this keeps for a month in the freezer
